Descend

You say you know
The Truth.
How often do you embody it,
obey it?

You have it all the time,
yet forget where you left it,
the key to your house of
Serenity.

You find it and realize
it was never you,
Always You.
You are here now,
everywhere,
Eternal.

Linear paradox
traps you,
not ready to leap
into void,
Infinite Happening.

There never was
nor ever will be.
Still the mind clings
to past memories
shaping future hopes.

Momentary transcendence happens,
no-mind taking hold,
the occurrences increasing.
Then the relapse to patterns.
The imprint of personality
still cemented firmly.

Do you wait for the earthquake,
inevitable but unpredictable,
to crumble the fabricated house,
cracking its foundation to the core?

Or will You embrace Your power
to shake heaven and earth,
to dissolve the illusion you inhabit,
and step into the one Truth
You Know awaits You?

You told her she was an ocean of love.
You were grateful to swim in it.
Like the oceans of the world,
each dissolves into one another,
separated only in name.

You dove into her depths,
feeling each body melt as one.
She is a sea of lessons.
The powerful waves
send perpetual gifts
to your shores.

Your ocean
surrounds You,
awaits You,
invites You.

The waters are warm yet cooling
below the blaze above.
You dip your toes.
You set your sails.
But you always return
to seemingly solid ground.

You know now.
It is time.

Descend.
