Welcome

 I originally intended for this site to be a cache of updates on my travels. So I started posting, if sporadically, in the blog throughout my trip.

However, my writing quickly evolved from a rote description of my travels and into a place to explore my internal world while traveling. I'll continue to post those thoughts here, both to muse on my travels and Life in general.

 The Global Guide is live. This will follow the 'travel blog' style I originally intended. Hearing the words, 'travel blog', can cause some serious eye-rolls these days. I try to avoid them with a mildly different approach. These entries will feature regions or countries or stories I think back on at the time for whatever reason. I'll start with that quick and potentially entertaining anecdote. Tips and advice will follow for those also interested in that stuff.

As these posts grow, you can search for specific areas up top or through the tags.

 As of 6/13/17, We (the royal, 'We,' of course) are 462 days in and 160 "places" down across 31 countries. My travels as best as I can recall them are mapped below. Have a look and let me know if you want my take on any of the below and I'll do my best to post on it in the Travel section.
